In 1979, ITC-Welcomgroup entered into a marketing and franchise agreement with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts worldwide, a time tested business relationship spanning over two decades. At present there are nine ITC-Welcomgroup Sheraton Hotels in India..The distinctive "Namaste" logo embodies ITC Welcomgroup philosophy of Indianess and hospitality. Accommodation: The Mughal Sheraton holds the luxury of 300 lavishly furnished rooms and suites. Each of them exemplifies the beauty and charm of Mughal architecture overlooking either the lush green gardens or the sparkling waters of the swimming pool. Some even give you an opportunity to view the magnificent Taj Mahal. Dining The Mughlai cuisine is compartmentalized in Nauratna, named after the Nine Jewels of Emperor Akbar's court. The other culinary cabin Bagh-e-Bahar serves Continental delights with live music. The Taj Bano lays out a lavish and exquisite Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine. The Mahjong Room with its luxurious appearance evokes the Chinese gourmet in you. The Maikhana - the elegant lobby bar offering sparkling wines and wondrous concoctions keeps you in good spirits. Conference and Banquet facilities :  In Agra, conventions and banquets are as sumptuous as the Mughal durbars. The interested ones end up with three options in hand - The Dewan-e-Khas - with a capacity of 175 people followed by the Majlis and Mehfil which can accomodate 50 and 25 people respectively. Well equipped with slide projectors, flip-chart boards, screens, mikes, overhead projectors, amplifiers, these elegant conference halls provide the once and for all required for making impeccable presentations. Also, the lush-green lawns of the Gulbadan Gardens are ideal for weddings, banquets and theme parties hosting atleast 3000 people. Recreation: The Mughal Sheraton offers obstacle golf, tennis, croquet, badminton, billiards and not to miss out, a movie lounge.
