India Tourism » Taj Mahal with Adventure » Taj Mahal with Mountain Trekking in India Taj Mahal with Mountain Trekking in India Duration : 15 Nights / 16 Days Places Covered : Delhi - Rishikesh - Uttarakashi - Kalyani - Dodi Tal - Sima - Hanuman Chatti - Netwar - Taluka - Har ki Dun - Taluka - Netwar - Mussoorie - Delhi - Agra - Jaipur Day 01 : Delhi / Rishikesh  Early departure from Delhi and arrive Rishikesh in time for lunch. An ideal setting for the days ahead of you. Day 02 : Rishikesh / Uttarkashi A drive of approx. 6 hrs after an early breakfast. Breathtaking views for the enthusiastic traveller. From flowing rivers to exotic hills, a keen eye will catch sight of the change in flora at different heights. Day 03 : Uttarakashi / Kalyani / Dodital A short drive before you set off on the trekking that awaits you the next few days. Dodi Tal is a sparkling and crystal clear lake which is surrounded by forests. The trek ascends gradually through thick forests and beautiful mountanious scenery. Anglers interest - the famous Himalayan Trouts are found in abundance in this lake. Permits for angling can be obtained. Day 04 : Dodital / Sima After Darwa Top the trek passes through a long ridge with a view of meadows on both sides. Day 05 : Sima /Hanuman Chatti 4 kms into trekking and one walks into dense forests of fur and deodar which are full of rare himalayan birds and animals. Interesting downhill routes take you to the base camp. Day 06 : Hanuman Chatti / Netwar Panoramic scenes and the drive along the river Yamuna in western Garhwal. The region is better known for the polyandrous society. Day 07 : Netwar / Taluka This part of the Har-ki-Dun trek over the next few days is of great interest. Motorable road under construction. The forests are rich in wildlife and is veritable paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers. The trek is through dense forests of chestnuts, walnuts, willows, chinars and a variety of conifer trees.  Day 08 : Taluka / Har ki Dun Day 09 : Har ki Dun / Taluka Day 10 : Taluka / Netwar Day 11 : Netwar / Mussoorie After arrival and a visit to the Mall, spend your day relaxing in the midst of the serene hills of Mussoorie. Day 12 : Mussoorie / Delhi Day 13 : Delhi - Agra Morning drive to Agra enroute visiting Sikandara, on arrival check in into hotel. Afternoon half day city tour is being organized covering Taj Mahal, Red fort, Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Overnight at hotel. Day 14 : Agra - Jaipur  This day drive to Jaipur enroute visiting old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty - Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival check in into hotel.Afternoon enjoy city atmosphere which by many means is fabulous. Overnight at hotel. Day 15 : Jaipur Morning you will be taken to Amer Fort, where you will have the sheer pleasure to enjoy the Elephant Ride. Afternoon city tour covering Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Royal Observatory & Bazaar. Overnight at hotel. Day 16 : Jaipur - Delhi Onward destination Morning free. Late afternoon drive back to Delhi upon arrival you will be taken to hotel where we will be holding a few rooms for wash & change. Have your dinner being organized by us.
